Issue #116
In recent years and decades, as you've watched the increasingly rapid political, economic, educational, cultural, social, moral and military decline of the U.S., have you ever wondered why it's happening? There are at least three possible reasons: (1) it's all just a coincidence; (2) politicians and bureaucrats are simply incompetent and don't mean to do any harm; or (3) it's all according to plan. I just finished reading According to Plan: The Elites' Secret Plan to Sabotage America by Kevin Freeman (foreword by Dr. Ben Carson), which lays out the case for the third answer.
As an aspiring collapsologist, I've read that one of the most common causes (if not the most common) for the collapse of complex societies is that a small group of elites gain control over society and then, unsatisfied with their enormous relative wealth, press their advantage until society collapses. Freeman calls these elites “pigs,” after the scheming, domineering and tyrannical pigs in Orwell's Animal Farm.
(For decades, schools and the media have led us to believe that the divide in America is between Democrats and Republicans, Conservatives vs. Liberals, Right vs. Left. I've recently realized that the battle (and it truly is a battle), is between the Elite and the People, Truth vs. Lies, Good vs. Evil, Life vs. Death, Creation vs. Destruction, Kindness vs. Cruelty, Decency vs. Vulgarity, Liberty vs. Tyranny.)
Freeman makes clear that communist regimes and even theocracies are just another way for the pigs to exploit the people and live at their expense. For example, the bottom of the list of countries ranked by Gini coefficient (a measure of income inequality) is dominated by communist kleptocracies in Africa.
Freeman included this interesting tidbit about one of the biggest pigs (Klaus Schwab, chairman of the World Economic Forum): “...Schwab was the eldest child of Eugen Schwab, manager of the infamous Escher-Wyss Ravensburg plant that manufactured weapons for the Nazis as well as turbines the Nazis used to produce heavy water for their atomic bomb project. Designated a 'National Socialist Model Company' by Adolph Hitler, the Schwab-run company made extensive use of WWII slave labor, including Allied POWs.” The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree.
Big pig Agustin Carstens--the General Manager of the Bank for International Settlements (the central bank of central banks)--is excited about the coming imposition of central bank digital currencies: “With the CBDC, the central bank will have absolute control, and also we will have the technology to enforce that.”
Then I came upon one of the most jaw-dropping things I've read in decades. Freeman introduces us to Chinese General Chi Haotian, who served in the People's Liberation Army from 1946 to 2003. He also served in multiple National Congresses, on the Politburo, and as China's Defense Minister from 1993 to 2003.
In a secret speech to CCP leaders, Chi said that China's “first issue is living space. The environment is severely polluted,” so much so that the survival of the Chinese race “is gravely threatened.” Chi then notes that in Western countries, “their living space is much better than ours....Their sky is often blue with white clouds, while our sky is covered by a layer of dark haze. Their tap water is clean enough for drinking, while even our ground water is so polluted that it can't be drunk....They have few people in the streets...in contrast, our streets are always crawling with people, and several people have to share one room....To solve this problem, we must lead the Chinese people outside of China.... Comrade Mao Zedong said [doing so would resolve] the lack of living space in China.” But not just any country will do. “Only countries like the U.S., Canada, and Australia have the vast land to serve our need for mass colonization.”
Wait, what? This explains and changes everything. Chi continued: “Therefore, solving the 'issue of America' is the key to solving all other issues. First, this makes it possible for us to have many people migrate there and even establish another China under the same leadership of the CCP. America was originally discovered by the ancestors of the yellow race...[so] we the descendants of the Chinese nation are entitled to the possession of the land!....Solving the 'issue of America' is the mission assigned to the CCP members by history. The relationship between China and the U.S. is one of life-and-death struggle.... Only by using special means to 'clean up' America will we be able to lead the Chinese people there. This is the only choice left for us....We must conceal our ultimate goals, hide our capabilities, and await the opportunity.”
This talk about “using special means to clean up America” for mass colonization sounds a lot like the Nazis talking about obtaining lebensraum by solving “the Jewish question.” As Lenin would ask, “What is to be done?” Chi says conventional and nuclear weapons won't do, because the Chinese need our stuff: “Only by using non-destructive weapons that can kill many people will we be able to reserve America for ourselves. There has been rapid development of modern biological technology, and new bio-weapons have been invented one after another. Of course, we have not been idle, in the past years we have seized the opportunity to master weapons of this kind. [Thanks in part to a donation of U.S. taxpayer money by Dr. Anthony Fauci.] We are capable of achieving our purpose of 'cleaning up' America all of a sudden.” Chi praised the foresight of the Party Central Committee to not develop aircraft carrier groups but to “focus instead on developing lethal weapons that can eliminate mass populations of the enemy country. Biological weapons are unprecedented in their ruthlessness, but if the Americans do not die then the Chinese have to die. If the Chinese people are strapped to the present land [China], a total societal collapse is bound to take place.”
Not only is Chi a collapsologist, he also has a quasi-humanitarian streak: “From a humanitarian perspective, we should issue a warning to the American people and persuade them to leave America...to the Chinese people. Or at least they should leave half of the U.S. to be China's colony [which sounds a lot like The Man in the High Castle]....If this strategy does not work, then there is only one choice left to us...use decisive means to 'clean up' America and reserve America for our use in a moment....as long as we make it happen, nobody in the world can do anything about us....if the U.S. as the leader is gone, then other enemies have to surrender to us....It is indeed brutal to kill one or two hundred million Americans. But that is the only path that will secure a Chinese century in which the CCP leads the world.”
In 1999, two senior colonels in China's air force published the book Unrestricted Warfare: China's Master Plan to Destroy America. Freeman says the authors “made a strategic case for undermining America through a 'composite force of alternative methods of attack' including political, economic, network and terrorist action” and predicted “such a 'grand warfare method' could unleash on America 'the same and even greater destructive force than military warfare'....Their work was praised in official CCP publications.”
What did Joseph Robinette say about this threat in 2020? “They're not bad folks....They're not competition for us.” Coincidentally, “The Big Guy” was the head of a crime family that had received millions of dollars in bribes from the Chinese state. Incredibly, he was not the first U.S. President to have done so. Why did Trump have to be removed, by any means necessary? One reason: he pushed back against China.
So after China invades Taiwan during one of Biden's naps and some of the U.S. military's woke training sessions, should we start scanning the ocean off the Left Coast for Chinese amphibious landing craft? No, because the Chinese are already here. There are so many Chinese students (from China, who I hear generally don't socialize with other Chinese students from the U.S. and Taiwan) in American universities (which the schools love, because the nomenklatura families of these kids can afford to pay full fare) that some have set a cap on the number they'll admit. These students study at top schools and then take that knowledge back to China. While they're here, they're monitored by Confucius Institutes. China is also bribing U.S. professors as part of its Thousand Talents program.
Incredibly, in recent months, the Chinese have been flying balloons over the U.S. that were large enough to carry at least one nuclear warhead that, when detonated at altitude, could have destroyed about half of all electronics in the U.S. They flew undetected for days, but fortunately, the U.S. military was using correct pronouns.
Freeman writes that Biden's open border with Mexico allows China to smuggle fentanyl (a synthetic opioid that's up to 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times stronger than morphine) into the U.S. via Mexican drug cartels, which helps “clean up” the U.S.: “Experts estimate more than 100,000 Americans died from fentanyl between April 2020 and April 2021 alone....more Americans have lost their lives to this Chinese drug in a single year than died in the 42 years of the Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan Wars. Combined. And fentanyl is estimated to be killing another 300 daily...[making it] the leading cause of death among 18-to-45 year old Americans.”
Americans are probably also being slowly poisoned by the many products made in China (possibly by slave labor) that contain toxic chemicals (many of which are sold on Amazon). I've noticed that a lot of things such as dog chew toys say “not made in China.” If you would do that for your dog, why wouldn't you do it for yourself? We recently had to replace the flooring in our basement, and the easy (and nearly only) choice would have been “luxury vinyl planks,” almost all of which is made in China. (They must call it that because the slave laborers who make it live in luxury. Or more likely, it allows their pig overseers to live in luxury.) Instead, we did some research and found some beautiful cork flooring that is sustainably harvested in Switzerland.
Lots of U.S. corporations are in bed with China, including Amazon, Apple, Disney (its former CEO is now the U.S. ambassador to China), Blackrock, Boeing, General Motors, Nike, Starbucks, and the National Basketball Association.
China has established a police station in New York City. When they say, “defund the police,” I'm guessing they don't mean these police.
TikTok, which seems to be experimenting with a military-grade mass psychogenic illness operation against American teenage girls, is not only the most popular social media and video streaming app, I understand that it's also becoming the most popular search engine. Millions of Chinese web surfers are trying to get around the Great Firewall, while millions of clueless Americans put themselves behind it.
Senator Feinstein employed a Chinese spy for 20 years, and Rep. Eric Swalwell—a House manager for Trump's impeachment trial--had a romantic relationship with one. Both sat on Congressional intelligence committees.
These are just some of the things I've learned as a casual reader of the news. I have a whole stack of books about China that I have yet to read, so I'm sure I'm just skimming the surface here.
Since I'm a casual consumer of news, I missed this shocking item that Freeman mentions in the book: “Biden's response to the Dobbs case [which held that the Constitution does not confer a right to abortion] reportedly includes expanding the mission of military bases—in pro-life states, they will now apparently also serve as abortion mills.” Wow. When I was in the Army, our mission was to kill the enemy, which would have been an invading Soviet army on the plains of Germany, not innocent, helpless infants in our own country. We have lost our moral compass.
Freeman describes how the Biden administration treats law-abiding citizens and illegal aliens differently: “American citizens abroad were told they must have a negative COVID-19 test or proof of recovery before they could fly back to their home in the States—illegals can stroll right in. Americans were told to socially distance—illegals caravan in large groups. Americans who aren't vaccinated have lost their jobs and livelihoods—illegals who aren't vaccinated are welcomed and flown all over America.”
Freeman quotes Thomas Sowell about our self-inflicted decline: “Ours may become the first civilization destroyed, not by the power of our enemies, but by the ignorance of our teachers and the dangerous nonsense they are teaching our children. In an age of artificial intelligence, they are creating artificial stupidity.”
Finally, Freeman notes how, like the pigs in Animal Farm, Congress exempts itself from a number of laws (including the Freedom of Information Act and the ban on insider trading), and quotes what James Madison wrote about this practice, which is prescient: “[Congress] can make no law which will not have its full operation on themselves and their friends....This has always been deemed one of the strongest bonds by which human policy can connect the rulers and the people together. It creates between them that communion of interests and sympathy of sentiments of which few governments have furnished examples; but without which every government degenerates into tyranny.”
